HOULTON, Maine — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) remind travelers that the hours of operation at three ports of entry along the Maine/New Brunswick border will change this weekend.
On August 20, the ports of Bridgewater/Centerville, Milltown, and Limestone/Gillespie will adjust their hours. The new hours of operation are:
Bridgewater/Centreville: 5 a.m. – 9 p.m. Eastern (6 a.m. – 10 p.m. Atlantic).
Milltown: 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. Eastern (7 a.m. – 11 p.m. Atlantic).
Limestone/Gillespie: 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. Eastern (7 a.m. – 11 p.m. Atlantic).
The reduction in hours, predominantly overnight, will allow staff to be reallocated to nearby locations that need additional staffing.
Travelers should plan ahead and adjust travel plans according to the new hours.
