County grand jury indicts fourteen people

CARIBOU, Maine — Fourteen people were indicted by the Aroostook County grand jury on Aug. 10 after the panel completed its eighth session of the year, according to Aroostook County  District Attorney Todd Collins. Crimes related to drugs and violence topped the list of indictments this session:

Kevin Coughlin Jr, 20, Presque Isle, unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs, violation of bail.

Mark W. Matthews, 36, Houlton, burglary, criminal mischief.

Gregory L. Huntley, 34, Sherman, operating after revocation with priors, unlawful possession

of scheduled drugs.

Fred R. Bates Jr, 43, Patten, burglary, criminal mischief, criminal threatening.

Lucas A. Landry, 38, Smyrna, theft with priors.

Jacob D. Poitraw, 20, Caribou, theft with priors, unauthorized use with priors.

Dawn M. Gonya, Houlton, 48, unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs.

Austin A. McAfee, Houlton, 18, burglary, theft, criminal mischief.

John E. Neureuther, 41, Houlton,  operating after revocation with priors.

James C. Cain, 40, Presque Isle, aggravated assault, violation of condition of release.

Nicholas W. Dickinson, 34, Mapleton, burglary, theft.

Brian R. Holmes, 37, Easton, aggravated assault, operating after suspension.

Corey P. White, 43, Presque Isle, tampering with a victim.

Andrew Adams, 33, Caribou, aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.
