Spider was recently at Halfway Way Home Pet Rescue as a re-trapped barn cat. Because of snow collapsing the farmer’s barn last winter, Spider and seven other of her rodent patrol buddies came back to HHPR until a new barn was built. On entry Spider was angry; however, within a few weeks, she mellowed and was enjoying her foster home. Unfortunately, after 4 months of a comfortable home, she had a heart attack and left this world for the rainbow bridge. This story is in loving memory of Spider and the life that might have been. She was loved for such a short time but is deeply missed. Feral cats deserve a chance as many can be domesticated with time and patience. Please help feed colonies; you never know when you may meet up with another Spider. For information: call 999
