Emera plans Bridgewater/Blaine repairs

BRIDGEWATER and BLAINE, Maine — Emera Maine announced Sept. 6 that on Monday, Sept. 11, crews are scheduled to perform maintenance to the electrical system that will help improve service to customers in Bridgewater and Blaine. 

The work will begin at 9 a.m. and last approximately two hours. During this time, electric service may be suspended to enable crews to safely complete their work.

This maintenance will affect customers residing on Old Houlton Road, Robinson Road, E. Blaine Road, Grass Road, Barrett Road, Griffin Road, Trafford Road, Pierce Road, Riverside Wesleyan Campground, Mountain Road, Lunn Road, Rideout Road, Campground Road, Station Road and Pond Street.

The public is urged to use caution, move over when possible, and pass at a safe speed if approaching utility crews working on or alongside roadways.
