Glatter is 4-H youth manager

ORONO, Maine — The University of Maine Cooperative Extension has hired Mari Glatter as a 4-H youth development professional with the Extension’s Aroostook County team. 

Glatter will coordinate and manage The County’s 4-H youth education program, and will develop and evaluate educational curricula with an emphasis on 4-H STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) programming.

She will focus on expanding 4-H youth development opportunities through new clubs and partnerships with school systems. She also will collaborate with Extension educators, faculty and community members statewide to support programming and expand the educational resource base for Maine youth.

Glatter has 20 years of experience in education, and volunteer recruitment and management. She has bachelor’s degrees in music and education from the University of Maine.
