HOULTON, Maine — The third annual Northern Maine Rural Living Day was held Saturday at the John A. Millar Civic Center and Houlton fairgrounds and featured a variety of exhibits and classes for individuals to explore.
The day included workshops such as beekeeping for beginners, backyard maple syrup, natural herbs for health, safe pesticide choices for home gardeners, and apple tree pruning and management, as well as a variety of children’s activities and animal displays.
