MARS HILL, Maine – Jodie W. Morse, 58, died September 14, 2017 in Blaine. He was born on January 24, 1959 in Fort Fairfield, the son of the late Mahland and Anna (Flannery) Morse.
After graduation, Jodie worked in the fishing industry in Alaska. After returning to Maine, he worked in the broccoli and potato industry. He was good-hearted and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved to cook and watch sports on TV.
He is survived by his sister, Connie Rideout and her husband Donald of Westfield, nephews; Troy Young of Westfield and Todd Young of Blaine, great nephews Tyler and Taylor Young and a great niece, Haylee Young of Fort Fairfield; as well as special friends; Ronnie Shaw, Matthew Tweedie and his family, and the County Super Spud family.
A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Mars Hill Snowmobile Club. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
