WADE, Maine – William J. ‘Bill’ Tactikos, 68, passed away at his residence Thursday morning September 21, 2017. He was born Feb. 4, 1949 in Presque Isle, the son of James and Dell Tactikos.
He graduated from Washburn High School with the class of 1967. He worked many years in security, most recently at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. He is survived by a foster sister and two foster brothers, Gwen McBurnie of Perham, Nate Churchill of Brewer and Steve Churchill of Council Bluffs, Iowa and their families. He is also survived by many foster nieces and nephews, friends and a loving church family. His faith in Christ was strong and he was looking forward to his heavenly home.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 30 at 2 p.m. at the Crouseville Advent Christian Church, Pastor John Walsh officiating.
