WOLCOTT, Conn. — Mark C. Wagner, 72, beloved husband of Ann Marie (Ferrari) Wagner, passed away on August 24, after a brief illness, at Waterbury Hospital.
He was a retired Lieutenant on the Wolcott, Conn., Police Department and served on the Wolcott Town Council.
Every year since 1988, he organized an annual bear hunting trip to Big Machias Lake Camps in Maine with his close friends. He made many friends in the Ashland area during his yearly trips, attending the Annual Moose Hunters’ Supper, Ashland Daze, at Freem’s bar, Dean’s and other local establishments.
Mark is survived by his wife, son, grandson and other close family members.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, in Wolcott, Conn.
