HODGDON, Maine — The first in a series of natural resource based workshops was held this past week in SAD 70’s Hodgdon shop.
Dave Libby, CLP and QLP instructor, demonstrated the “Dos and Don’ts” of chainsaw safety. The Houlton Hodgdon Adult Community Education (HHACE), Region Two, and the Qualified Logging Professional program provided this event with the support of J.M. Huber and Louisiana Pacific.
The next class, which will focus on bird protection in the logging environment, will be at the Houlton Community Golf Course on Oct. 24.
