DANBURY, CT – Ted Thibodeau, loving husband of Carol Thibodeau, passed away September 27,2017, at the Danbury, CT, Regional Hospice Facility after a long illness.
Ted was born March 13, 1933 in Caribou, Maine, the youngest child of Thaddy and Delvina (Fournier) Thibodeau.
Ted was a four-letter varsity athlete at Caribou High School, graduating in 1951. He graduated from the University of Maine and enjoyed a 35 year teaching career, mostly spent in Danbury, retiring in 1992.
Ted is survived by his devoted wife, Carol, his adored daughter, Ashley Thibodeau, granddaughter April Dubois (Kevin), sons Mark and Peter, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers Jake, Al, and Charles, and sisters Bella Roy, Lillian Sprague, Lorraine Weaver, and Teresa Gagnon.
