PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Aroostook Partners in the Arts invite the public to a Halloween-themed live art event at the Wintergreen Arts Center.
Brews and Brushes will take place Saturday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests will enjoy a Battle of the Brushes among local artists, enjoy refreshments and vote for their favorite artwork. The event will culminate in an art auction.
Admission includes two drinks of local wine or brews, along with food and one artwork vote. Additional votes may be purchased at $1 each. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the participating artists and Wintergreen. Proceeds from ticket sales will help Partners in the Arts provide further arts and cultural experiences.
Featured local artists are Lin Trombley, Katelyn Sanipass, Shelby Pelletier, Jackie Poulin, Andrea Peterson and Marty Gallant.
Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple, and are available at WAC, Wilder’s and Morningstar Art and Framing in Presque Isle, or from any Partners in the Arts member.
