Island Falls Seniors gather (week of October 18, 2017)

The foliage was nearly at its peak, with dazzling colors and temperate sunshine as we left from the municipal building for our annual leaf peeping trip. We traveled to Lincoln and had lunch at Gilmores.

Though our reviews on the restaurant were mixed, we all agreed that we enjoyed the fellowship of like minded peers.

Those in attendance for the trip were Keith and Esther Harvey, Rich Camire, Louise Butcher, Mary Lawler, Gloria Noyes, Jeanne Clements, Ellie Peck, Edith Dwyer, Dick Shean, Terry Dwyer, Darrell and Sherry Hartin, Mary Pipes, Darlene Hartin and Deannie Smith.

Our next meeting will fall on Oct. 19. The potluck begins at 11;30 a.m., followed by our business meeting and bingo. We urge any and all seniors in the community to join us, and yes–you are old enough.
