The 2017 Aroostook League Middle School Cross Country Championship was held Oct. 11 at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Among the participants were Washburn students Laura Page, who came in fifth, and Tatiana Arce, who was 12th, out of 38 girls from five schools: Washburn District Middle School, Caribou Middle School, Presque Isle Middle School, Greater Houlton Christian Academy and Woodland Consolidated School.
