PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Local families are invited to celebrate Halloween while supporting a great cause on Friday, Oct. 27, at the Presque Isle Community Center.
The “Monster Mash” family costume dance will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., with all proceeds helping to fund the new playground at Riverside Park.
All are welcome; the cost is $10 per family.
Prizes will be awarded in a variety of costume categories. There will be a cupcake walk, photo booth, goody bags for the first 200 kids, carnival games and prizes. Dancing with deejay Stephen Boddy will round out the evening.
A concession stand and bake sale will be on site.
The event is sponsored by the Presque Isle Kiwanis Club, the Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department and The Aroostook Medical Center.
