VIRGINIA DAWN (GOODALL) BOLES, OAKFIELD – Virginia Dawn (Goodall) Boles, 74, passed away October 16, 2017, at EMMC in Bangor, surrounded by her family. Ginny was born in Oakfield on August 29, 1943, to Elva Goodall, and was raised by her grandmother, Nellie Goodall.
Ginny graduated from Oakfield High School. She worked for many years as a CNA at the Gardiner Nursing Home, for Visiting Nurses of Aroostook and volunteered for Hospice. She was a wonderful cook and knitter, always eager to cook or knit for her children or grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Terry Boles of Oakfield; her three children, Kelly Sonderman and husband, David, of Oakfield, Gili Brown and husband, Joel, of Pittsfield, Eric Boles and Allison Gardella of Biddeford; 5 grandchildren, Jocelyn Fitzgerald and boyfriend, Mike Conroy, Quentin and Ian Sonderman, Kylee Dubay and Deryk Boles; 2 stepgrandsons, Lucas and Zachary Peterman; and a precious great-granddaughter, Felicity MacKenna Conroy, who was born at the very moment that Ginny took her last breath. She is also survived by a very special aunt, who was more like a sister, Jeannie Goodall; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
