MARS HILL, Maine — Officials at Central Aroostook Middle/High School in Mars Hill recently announced the Students of the Month for August and September.
CAHS senior Isabelle Wright and seventh-grader Riley Prince were recognized.
The daughter of Edward and Tracey Wright, Isabelle is involved in the Future Farmers of America, National Honor Society, Math Team, Spanish Club, Youth in Government and Chorus, and is a member of the golf, basketball and softball teams.
She said her favorite subjects are speech and Spanish 4, and she enjoys spending time at camp, traveling, shopping and hanging out with friends.
She plans to attend college to earn a degree in either nutrition or global health, then further her education in medical school.
The daughter of Jennifer and Seth Prince, Riley is involved in cheerleading and is on the Student Council.
She reported her favorite subjects are math and science, and she enjoys volunteering at the animal shelter and listening to “Hamilton.”
She plans to continue her education, ultimately earning a PhD and becoming a veterinarian.
