RUBY P. BOTTING, ASHLAND AND PATTEN – Ruby P. Botting, 96, of Ashland and Patten died Nov. 4, 2017, in Houlton. She was born Dec. 30, 1920, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Emery and Nettie (Chase) Pyle. Ruby enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing games but most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by two children, Paul Botting of Houlton and Pauletta McLellan of Ashland; nine grandchildren, and several great- and great-great-grandchildren, as well and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Norman Sr., two sons, Norman Jr. and Arthur, a son-in-law, Harvey McLellan and two daughters, Jean and Judy.
