To the editor:
In the Nov. 8 edition of the Aroostook Republican, Caribou resident Norma Milton thanked me and my staff for the great service she received while at the Caribou Rehab and Nursing Center. It was our pleasure to serve you, Norma, and thank you for the kind words.
My job is to beg, plead and cajole for more money out of the government programs that fund our services. The job of my managers is to hire and train the best people in Aroostook, give them quality supplies and equipment to work with and then get out of their way. The front line staff gives the nursing care, cooks the meals and cleans the rooms. They are the most important of all and deserve the most thanks. We at Caribou Rehab have been truly blessed to have such great caring and devoted staff. I’ve taken out an ad in this paper listing all of their names for the recognition they deserve.
Thanks again to Norma Milton for her time and effort to recognize our operation.
