PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Joan Louise Good, 80, joined the Lord on November 10, 2017, at EMMC, Bangor. She was born on September 19, 1937, in Caribou, the daughter of Frank and Eva (Ouellette) Cyr.

Joan will be deeply missed but not forgotten. She will live on in the memories shared by family and friends. She was a member of the St Mary’s Church in Presque Isle. She enjoyed family gatherings, quilting, bingo, playing cards, cooking, and challenging her family and friends on her computer games. Joan worked at Converse Rubber Company for many years and received her RN degree at UMPI.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard Good of Presque Isle, two children, Debbie Plummer and fiancé, Dan Powers of Presque Isle; Randy Good and companion, Cheryl Coburn of Indiana; grandchildren, Toby, Jarod (wife Allyson) and Joshua Plummer; Tammy McKinnon (husband Kevin), Jesse, Christopher (wife Dawn), Andrea and Laycie Good, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Gerald Cyr and wife, Doreen, sister, Patricia Philbrick and husband, Robert and sister, Shirley Anderson, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her grandson, Bobby-Joe Good, sister, Elaine Pelkey, brothers, Arthur and Patrick Cyr.
Family and friends may call 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. A reception will be held following the funeral mass at the K of C Hall. Interment will be held 3 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan’s memory to help her family with funeral costs to Richard Good, 4C Birch St., Presque Isle.
