HOULTON, Maine — St. Mary of the Visitation Parish in Houlton is one of several Maine parishes that will provide free Thanksgiving dinners in praise of the gifts that God has bestowed.
The parish will host a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in the parish hall at 112 Military St. The meal will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. All who want to share in a holiday meal are invited; whether someone is alone, doesn’t want to cook a big meal or may be struggling financially, everyone is welcome.
