CARIBOU, Maine – Blanche M. Beaupre, 90, died unexpectedly on November 17, 2017, at Bangor, with her family by her side following a brief illness. She was born in Hamlin on September 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Caris and Rose (Pelletier) Cyr.
Mrs. Beaupre was a longtime faithful member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She married Francis R. Beaupre on November 29, 1952, and she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, Memere, sister, and aunt.
Mrs. Beaupre was employed for many years at Potato Service, Birds Eye, and McCain Foods. In her spare time she was often found in the kitchen. She was well known for her chicken pot pie, doughnuts, cookies, squares, pies and much more. If she wasn’t in the kitchen cooking, you could probably find her knitting away in her rocking chair. She made the best slippers, socks and mittens.
She is survived by her three children, Brenda Martin of Mariaville, Gail Clark and husband, Randy of New Sweden, and Jerry Beaupre and wife, Jennifer of Caribou; her seven grandchildren, Nicole, Ricky, Lindsey, Meagan, Ryan, Jacob, and Krista; five great-grandchildren, Corey, Samantha, Wesley, Elexus, and Bryson; her sisters, Ester Angeloni of California, Rosie Belanger and husband, Nelson of Connecticut, and one brother, Ronnie Cyr of Connecticut; a special sister-in-law, Vi Cyr of Massachusetts, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Beaupre was predeceased by her husband, Francis in 1994, her son, Larry in 2017, and brother s and sisters, Lezine, Helen, Anna, Ralph, Albert, Alphy, Herman and Jeanine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 22, 2017, from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Following the services all are invited to a visit with the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments in the parish hall.
