PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Maine Epsilon Master chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met Nov. 16 at Governor’s in Presque Isle. President Sue Lougee conducted the business meeting.
Community service projects are as follows: Thanksgiving basket donated to Martha and Mary’s food pantry, donation to Homeless Services of Aroostook and a donation to the Kiwanis Christmas fund.
The group discussed upcoming events around the community, including Maine Street Mania Nov. 17, Presque Isle High School’s production of the musical “Annie” the weekend of Nov. 17-19, and a community band concert coming up Nov. 27 at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
Many happy dollars were shared while members enjoyed dessert and coffee. The 50/50 raffle was won by Sue Lougee.
The next meeting will be Thursday, Dec.14, at the home of Tammy Walton. Refreshments will be served by the social committee and members should bring a gift for a Yankee swap.
