The Caribou Men’s Basketball League is underway and the Aroostook Dream Team is alone in first place through the first three games.
Aroostook Dream Team, coming off an 85-51 victory over Country Farms Market on Nov. 20, holds a 3-0 record. Caribou Eye Care, who beat Loring Job Corps that same evening by a score of 63-57, is the only other team above the .500 mark at 2-1.
Country Farms Market and Griffeth Ford own identical 1-2 records and Loring Job Corps is in last place at 1-3.
The season began Nov. 8. Scores of other games played so far are as follows: Caribou Eye Care 54, Griffeth Ford 40; Aroostook Dream Team 71, Loring Job Corps 34; Griffeth Ford 57, Loring Job Corps 31; Aroostook Dream Team 78, Griffeth Ford 47; Loring Job Corps 95, Country Farms Market 89; and Country Farms Market by forfeit over Caribou Eye Care.
Games are played at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center Monday and Wednesday evenings. Regular season contests will continue through mid-February, 2018. The double-elimination playoffs are scheduled to begin Feb. 19, 2018.
