LIMESTONE, Maine – Michael S. St. Pierre, 78, died on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor after prolonged health issues. He was born on August 13, 1939, and graduated from Limestone High School in 1958.
Michael was born and raised in Caswell, the son of Joseph and Alice Curless St. Pierre. In Michael’s early years he owned and operated a small construction business. In the winter he was an overhire at Loring Airforce Base doing snow removal for over 30 years. Mike was also a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member.
Michael leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Geneva Roix St. Pierre; his three children, Darin St. Pierre, Darlene and her husband, Joseph Tempesta, Dana and his wife, Amy St. Pierre; eight grandchildren, Darin Jr., Victoria Hopkins, and Arron St. Pierre, Olivia and Catherine Tempestra, Gage, Luke, and Owen St. Pierre. He also had three great-granddaughters, Cadence, Madison and Sayde St. Pierre. Michael was also survived by his mother Alice, and a brother, Jerome.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph, and two brothers, Ulysses and Patrick.
At Michael’s request there will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial was held at Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Louis Catholic Church in Limestone, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017.
