HOULTON AND DANFORTH, Maine – Mary L. McLaughlin, 87, passed away November 26, 2017 in Houlton with her family at her side. She was born April 20, 1930 in Houlton, the daughter of Abner and Fannie (Stoddard) Campbell.
Mary enjoyed cooking, knitting and fishing. She loved her family and friends greatly, taking great pride in her three generations of grandchildren.
She is survived by her life long companion, James Toby of Houlton; her 4 children, Ardis Barrey of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Elsie Ramsey of Danforth, Rex McLaughlin and Richard McLaughlin, both of Houlton; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; a sister, Joanne Kitchen of MA; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Bert; 3 children, Yvonne, Franklin and James; 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 16th at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton with her sons, Rex and Pastor Richard McLaughlin officiating.
