KINGSLAND, Georgia – Beloved mother and grandmother passed away on November 26, 2017, at her home in Kingsland, Georgia.
She was born in Washburn, Maine, to Thomas and Edith (Doyle) Wilcox. She is survived by four of her nine children, Janice Anderson of Kingsland, Georgia, Roger Fitzgerald and wife, Pearl, of Washburn, Maine, Carl Allen and wife, Rose, of Westfield, Maine, and Delores Mondloch and husband, Anthony of Fostoria, Ohio. She is the grandmother of 103 grandchildren over four generations; 32 grandchildren, 50 great-grand children, 18 great-great-grandchildren and three great-great-great-grandchildren, 6th generation.
She was predeceased by her daughters, Gloria Genzale and Linda Ceragioli, and her three sons, Patrick Cote, Gary Fitzgerald and Caroll Allen; three brothers, Wallace Wilcox, Lawrence Wilcox and John Wilcox; five sisters, Annie Carter, Ruby Wood, Orilla Jellison, Verna Crotto, her twin and Opal Barton.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017, at the St. Mary’s Church of Christ, St. Mary’s, Georgia. Interment will be at the Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle, Maine in May 2018.
