PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Edna Elizabeth Everett passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at TAMC. She was born on May 1, 1922, to William and Myrtle Foss in Fort Fairfield, ME. She married Donald Everett on February 6, 1945, and enjoyed 65 years together until his death in 2010.
Edna enjoyed garage sales, knitting, snowmobiling with friends, and spending winters in Florida. She was a resident of Leisure Village for the past seven years.
Edna is survived by her son, Jeff and Cathy Everett of Cross Lake and Bluffton, SC; grandson, Ryan Everett; and great-granddaughter, Abbigail Everett of Woodland; grandson, Tim and Tina Reed; and great-grandsons, Tyler Reed and Trevor Reed of Hampden; granddaughter, Kimberly and Dana Blackstone; and great-grandson, Drew Blackstone of North Monmouth; nephew, Peter Olson and his wife, Carol; and several other nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Pamela Reed, in 2009, and son-in-law, Wayne Reed in 2016. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Thelma Olson, Ruth Barnes, and Joyce Foss.
Jeff and Cathy would like to express a sincere thank you to all the staff of Leisure Village, Senior Domestics, Ruth Bouchard, Louise Libby, and Lillian Letourneau with her friendship and weekly custard puddings.
