PLYMOUTH, Maine – Raymond Floyd Huston, 63, of Plymouth, Maine, took his heavenly flight on December 1, 2017, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Caribou, Maine, on November 29, 1954. Ray fought a courageous battle with cancer for over a year and a half.
He leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Pattisue Huston of Plymouth, Maine, three children, Scott, Heidi and David, two sisters, Nancy and Sandra, three brothers, Allen, Thomas and Stanley, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many beloved friends and family. Ray was a faithful provider working at BIW for many years. His greatest accomplishments include receiving his GED at the age of 45, he was a Fisher of Men serving his Lord Jesus humbly and honorably for over 21 years in several ministries. He was predeceased by his son, Brohn Morin Huston, and his parents, Charlie and Lorraine Huston.
A first service will be held at the Open Door Bible church, 26 Gartley St, Lisbon, Maine 04250, on January 6, 2018. Visitation hour will be at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m., with a luncheon to follow.
There will be a second service at the Calvary Baptist Church, 39 Grove St, Newport, Maine 04953, on January 20, 2018. Visitation hour will be at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m., with luncheon to follow.
