Dressed in red, children from the Woodland Consolidated School join in the Dec. 15 celebration of the traditional Swedish St. Lucia Day. The celebration concluded with Pepparkakor (Swedish ginger cookies) baked by Karla Fisher, and a ring dance, “Nu Ha Vi Ljus,” around the holiday tree.
