Job is an approximately 3-year-old, orange-and-white, long-haired neutered male cat now residing in a Halfway Home Pet Rescue Foster home. Rescued as a stray from Fort Fairfield, he had matted hair, fleas, worms and was suffering from cold and hunger. Job was declawed so he had no way to defend himself or to hunt for food. Although a full-grown adult, he weighs in at only 5 pounds. Job is very mellow and clean, and has been groomed and freed of all parasites. He has obviously had a very tough life, but his personality reflects his faith and patience as well as his appreciation of being rescued. Job will remain with his foster family until a permanent home is found or his previous owner located. Call 999-1075. The Second Chance Thrift Store needs volunteers to cover a three-hour weekly shift. Visit the store for an volunteer application.
