Lyon Washburn District Elementary School will send six representatives to the Elks Hoop Shoot lodge competition, to be held on Jan. 13 at the University of Maine at Presque Isle's Wieden Gymnasium. Thirty five girls and 39 boys participated in the local event, which was conducted by Physical Education Instructor Laura Gardiner.
