PERHAM, Maine – Judith Ann (McBreairty) Hewitt, 72, died unexpectedly on December 27, 2017, at Woodland as a result of an accident. She was born at Caribou on August 2, 1945, the daughter of Hampton and Stella (King) McBreairty.
She attended Perham schools and was a graduate of Washburn High School. Judy was a waitress for several years and was also a truck driver for Lane Construction for a number of years where her CB handle was “Lead Foot”.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Stella, of Woodland, are her children, Randy Hewitt of Perham, Jeannie Hewitt of Perham, and Cheryl Brissette and her companion, Michael Thompson, of Woodland; two brothers, Orin McBreairty of Perham, and Omar “Bub” McBreairty of Caribou; four sisters, Joyce Landean of Webster, NY, Janet McDougal of Caribou, Joan Witherington of Andover, KS, Jane Stratton of Fredericksburg, VA; two grandchildren, Kody and Brittany; and many nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her father, Hampton.
Friends may call at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Saturday, January 6, 2018, from 12:00 noon until time of services.
