LIMESTONE, Maine – Mykayla Cecile Espling, 21 of Limestone Maine passed away on December 26, 2017 after a life-long battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Mykayla was born February 26, 1996 at Cary Medical Center to David Espling Sr. and Elizabeth Cobb.
Mykayla was predeceased by her father David Espling Sr., step-father’s Timothy Kidney and Ronald Cobb, Aunts Theresa Campbell and Carol Hotelling. She is survived by her mother Elizabeth Cobb of Washburn, ME., siblings Ashley and Brian Philbrook of Mapleton, ME. David Espling Jr. of Washburn, ME., Devon and Meagan Espling of New Sweden, ME. and Rebecca Carnine and husband of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is survived by 4 nieces and nephews. Mykayla is survived by many loving aunts and uncles as well as many cousins. Mykayla is also survived by her fur babies Ruby, Layla, Widow, Pixie, Morpheus, Jack, Athena and Casey. Services to celebrate Mykayla’s life will be held 1:00pm Saturday, January 6 at the Washburn Pentecostal Church with a luncheon to follow. Pastor Bruce Blakney will be officiating the services. All who loved and knew Mykayla are welcome to attend as we remember and celebrate her life.
