Nickie and Veronica are two formerly feral cats residing at Halfway Home Pet Rescue in Caribou. They have been with the pet rescue for almost three years and have learned to trust and accept the HHPR volunteers. It does take them a short while to adjust to new circumstances and people, but once adjusted they are quite loving. All their medical is completed and they are ready for a permanent home. These cats are excellent mousers, as well as hunting squirrels and chipmunks. Once they have become comfortable in their new country home, they would enjoy being inside/outside cats. The adoption fee is waived for these two expert hunters if they are adopted together. All adoptions are subject to committee approval. Halfway Home thanks all volunteers for helping achieve its mission of caring for homeless cats. (Courtesy of HHPR)
