Nomination papers for a Portage Lake selectperson (three-year term) and a Portage Lake School Department board member (also a three-year term) are now available at the Portage Lake Town Office, 20 School St., Portage Lake.
Anyone wishing to run for these offices should take out papers in person and return them no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22. Elections for these positions will be held on Thursday, March 22.

The Portage Lake Recreation Department is holding Cribbage Night every Tuesday evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Portage Lake Municipal Building, 20 School St., Portage Lake.
