CARIBOU, Maine – George Pelletier, 80, died on January 6, 2018, at Caribou.
He was born in Caribou on December 29, 1937, the son of George and Odelie (Dumas) Pelletier.
George graduated from the Caribou High School in 1956 and graduated from Ricker College in 1975 with a degree in Business Management. He married Pauline Bishop in 1966. George served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam and was a member of the Perkins-Plourde Post 136, American Legion. He was employed for many years in retail sales for L. S. Halls.
Surviving in addition to his wife of over 51 years, Pauline, of Caribou, are his daughter, Theresa Ewing, and husband, Clark, of Caribou; two brothers, Gil Pelletier of Enfield, Conn., and Larry Pelletier of Caribou; one sister, Lorraine Koehler of Washburn; two grandchildren, Carol and Douglas Ewing, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Pelletier was predeceased by his siblings, Connie, Esther, Joan, June, and Don.
