WESTFIELD, Maine – William Davis, 83, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018, at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. He was born on July 1, 1934, in Hartland, NB, Canada, the son of Edward and Dorothy (Kimball) Davis.
He worked many years as a parts manager for Wasa in Mars Hill and Lockwood Co. in Presque Isle. His last job was at the Mars Hill Country Club, which he fully enjoyed. He enjoyed stock car racing and playing hockey.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan Bell and her husband, Ronald, of Mars Hill; a son, Peter Davis and his wife, Kathy, of Saco; grandchildren, Brandon Bell and his fiancée, Marci Page, Lacey Bouchard and her husband, Jake, Megan Davis and Nic Davis and his fiancée, Grace Gould; grea- grandchildren, Kasen Bell, Jensen Bell, and Hadley Bouchard; three brothers, Kirk Davis of Hartland, NB, Clayton Davis of Ontario, Canada, and Jerry Davis of Hartland, NB; three sisters, Joyce Moore, Judy Perley, and Dianna Giberson, all of Florenceville, NB, Canada.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anita (McQuade) Davis, in September 2017, a brother, Willard Davis, and two sisters, Gaye Antworth and Claudeen Gilham.
Relatives and friends may call from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Second Street, Presque Isle, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev.
