CARIBOU, Maine – Regina Libby, 97, passed away on January 28, 2018, at a local nursing home facility. She was born on May 15, 1920, the beloved wife of the late Irving Anderson, and the late Richard Libby. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland.
She is survived by her daughters and spouses, Priscilla and Carl Helstrom of Boynton Beach, Florida, Sonja and Carl Sjoberg of Caribou; Beverly Anderson and friend, Phil Savage, of the Villages, FL; and son and his wife, Roger and Alta Anderson of Boynton Beach, FL. Regina leaves behind a sister-in-law, Theresa Canning of Caribou, and daughter-in-law, Billie Ward of MD. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Regina lived happily in Colby Siding, Limestone, Boynton Beach, and returned to Caribou in 2005 until her death.
Regina was the life of the party in her day, hospitable and always organizing card parties, cook outs and social events for friends and family wherever she resided, whether at Tropical Breeze Estates in Boynton Beach, Florida, or until her final years at Caribou Gardens.
