Little Peter is a 5-month old neutered tiger kitten living in a Halfway Home Pet Rescue foster home with his momma and sister. The family is feral and extremely frightened of human beings, as they have never known anything but abuse, hunger and cold. Peter and Paula (his sister) within a few months will probably become more accepting of humans. Their mother, about 3 years old and now spayed, will probably need to be relocated to a barn. At 5 months, it will possibly take Peter and his sister well into spring to learn to trust. Young feral kittens caught at about 6 to 7 weeks of age can generally be tamed within a few days and often after just 2 feedings and one good cuddle. The pet rescue needs Fresh Step cat litter, clumping and non-clumping. FMI: call 999-1075.
