EASTON, Maine – Scott Robin McEntee, 67, passed away on Feb. 2, 2018, at Maine Medical Center at Portland, Maine. He was born in Presque Isle on October 6, 1950, the son of Darrell R. and Gwendolyn McEntee of Presque Isle. He was predeceased by his father, Darrell, and brothers, Bruce and Raymond.
Living brothers are Robert and wife, Lorna, of Middletown, CT, and David and wife, Debbie, of Presque Isle; a sister, Peggy and husband, Roger Foster, of Monson; a son, Scott Eric of Eagle Lake; and daughter, Melissa and husband, Luis Branquinho, of South Hampton, NH; grandchildren, Lance, Logan, Grace, and Ethan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Scott was a grad of PIHS and proudly served for his country in the Army and the Vietnam War. He was actively involved in the Presque Isle Chapter 10 DAV. He worked many years as a boiler iron worker.
Scott loved camping, fishing, hunting, celebrating birthdays, weddings, baby births, and sports events with family and friends. When we wanted to see Scott smile we would ask him about his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed and leaves us with fond and treasured memories.
A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at the United Baptist Church in Westfield, Maine, on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan Angotti, officiating. A reception will follow at the church. Interment with military honors will be held at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou in the late spring.
