ASHLAND, Maine — Lucas Streinz, a homeschooled student from Hersey, captured the Aroostook League Middle School boys cross country skiing title Monday at an event held in Ashland.
Streinz bested a field of 46 skiers as he completed the 3-kilometer classic course in nine minutes, 25 seconds to take home first place honors.
