Little Dustin is a beautiful long-haired all black cat about 1 to 1-1/2 years old. He was abandoned in the winter cold without the means to find shelter and food. He has lost an entire ear and has several small wounds which must heal. He is in great pain from frostbite and is still frightened, but is now safe at a Halfway Home Pet Rescue foster home. He went straight to the vet for emergency care and tested positive for FIV, which is an autoimmune deficiency illness, but he can live a lifetime without any symptoms. He should be adopted as an only cat or to a home with another FIV cat. He will require more vet care after he gains strength and energy in a few weeks. In the meantime, he will be loved and comforted in his foster home. His adoption fee is $75. For more information call 999-1075. The pet rescue is in urgent need of litter, clumping and non-clumping, either Fresh Step or Tidy Cat.
