PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Wintergreen Arts Center will host its Annual Artful Egg Event on Saturday, March 24.
This is a special springtime event when little ones can have a hoppin’ good time decorating eggs, playing games, creating crafts, and enjoying other themed activities, said WAC Executive Director Dottie Hutchins.
Two sessions are planned: 9:30 to 11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $15 per child; children must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be refreshments and free face painting along with a special cupcake walk.
“Artful Egg is an event children will remember for years to come,” said Kim Guerrette Michaud, chairman of Wintergreen’s board of directors. “In fact, many of our high school student volunteers who help with Artful Egg were once little ones who attended themselves. It is a wonderful circle of growing up and giving back.”
