Graham’s Bowdoin team national runners-up

ROCHESTER, Minnesota — Hannah Graham, a 2015 graduate of Presque Isle High School and former standout player for the Wildcats, was a contributing member of the Bowdoin College Polar Bears’ NCAA Div. III national runner-up basketball team. 

The team played in the Final Four over the weekend and made it to the championship game thanks to Friday’s 90-62 win over Wartburg College of Waverly, Iowa. The following evening, Bowdoin lost to Amherst College of Amherst, Massachusetts, 65-45.

Graham played 12 minutes in the semifinal win. She scored two points and added a rebound and an assist. Graham went scoreless in 11 minutes of action during the championship game, contributing one rebound.

The 5-9 junior guard averaged 6 points per game during the season. She shot 51.5 percent from 3-point range and 93.3 percent from the foul line. She played in all 32 games for the Polar Bears, which finished with a 29-3 overall record.
