SMYRNA, Maine — The Maine Maple Producers Association welcomes individuals to join Maine’s Maple Syrup Producers, statewide, as they celebrate Maine Maple Sunday this weekend.

Maine Maple Sunday is always held the fourth Sunday in March although some sugarhouses are offering events for both Saturday and Sunday.

Spring Break Maple and Honey, located on 3315 U.S. Rt. 2 in Smyrna Mills, is hosting events both Saturday and Sunday. Guided sugarbush tours are available Sunday at 1 p.m. Participants should dress warmly for the hike into the woods.

Tours of the sugarhouse and maple candy facility are available both days from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sample products, taste test syrup and kids activities. For more information, email info@mainemapleandhoney.com or call 757-7373.
