WESTFIELD, Maine – Barbara Joan Buckley, 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at The Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill. She was born on April 12, 1942, in Washington, DC, the daughter of Otis and Margaret (Tebbs) Bowers. She met and married Daniel Buckley III in Florida, and then they moved to Westfield.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always caring for others. Barbara worked as a CNA at the Presque Isle Nursing Home and retired from The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. She is survived by three sons and their wives, Robert and Tammy Buckley of Mapleton, Patrick and Sheryl Buckley of Presque Isle, and John and Suzanne Buckley of Westfield; a brother, George Hayes and his wife, Cindy, of Lakeland, FL; a sister, Nodie Rawls and her husband, Joe, of Mulberry, FL; 15 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Aaron and Daniel Buckley, and two daughters, Bonnie Buckley and Debbie Webber.
Friends called from 12 -1 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle, where a memorial service was held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Darren Bonville officiating.
