On April 4, the Oakfield Senior Citizens met at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club for another delicious potluck.

President Robert Locke opened the business meeting with The Lord’s Prayer followed by The Flag Salute.

Wannetta Townsend was the lucky winner of the 50/50.

Christine McPherson, our coordinator from the Aroostook Agency on Aging in Presque Isle, brought us up to date about the upcoming RSVP banquet in Caribou on May 3, and also information about free energy savings products and the Money Minders and Friendly Visitors programs that are available by calling the agency in Presque Isle.

Suggestions were made about our summer outings and more information will be available soon.

Attending were: George Barrow, Wannetta Townsend, Berniece Campbell, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Arlene Friel, Bob and Delores Locke, Barbara and Everett Doughty and guest Christine McPherson.

All seniors are invited to join us on April 18 for our next meeting for potluck at 11:30 a.m., followed by business and entertainment.
