Dare I say it? It looks like Spring has sprung. The course is showing signs of waking up. The greens on hole Nos. 2, 3, and 6 are mostly clear and some fairways are starting to peek through. With the warmth and rain this week, we should see a lot of green by week’s end. Thank goodness. It’s been a long cold winter.

The golf course will officially open on Wednesday, May 9. Our crew will be working the next couple of weeks to get everything up and running. They will also be cleaning the course of what winter has left behind.

As we get more anxious to get out and swing the club, now might be a good time to fill out your membership applications and send in your payment. Remember to check our website for important info concerning the course and upcoming events.

The Lakeside Restaurant is now open on Friday and Saturday nights, 4:30-8 p.m. and of course Sunday Brunch, from 10:30-2:30 p.m. They will start regular hours, Wednesdays-Sundays Including lunch from 11-2:30 p.m. starting on May 9. Bill and Nancy are having a special Mother’s Day luncheon on May 13. Call 694-9494 to make your reservations.
