Seniors Achieving Greater Education (SAGE) at the University of Maine at Presque Isle included a course to create entries in UMPI’s third annual Trash to Fashion Show, held April 21 to celebrate Earth Day. Instructor Pam Crawford led participants in creating clothing and accessories from recycled items. Ten SAGE members created and/or modeled their entries, and Judy Mann, Nancy Theriault and Karen Hilt earned trophies for winning their categories.
